Steve Levitan To Receive Just For Laughs Tribute

TORONTO ? Modern Family co-creator Steven Levitan is to receive the Just for Laughs comedy writer of the year award at the upcoming Montreal yukfest.

Levitan will be on hand to accept the trophy for himself and Christopher Lloyd for their work on the hit ABC comedy.

The Montreal festival?s comedy conference has also scheduled a Podfathers sidebar, to feature top comedy podcasters like Marc Maron, Chris Hardwick, Scott Mosier and Paul F. Tompkins.

Also joining the comedy conference lineup is writer/actor Rob Corddry, writer/director David Wain, executive producer Jonathan Stern and Adult Swim vp of comedy development Nick Weidenfeld.

The Just For Laughs comedy conference is set to run from July 28 to 30.
