CBS Completes Upfront Deals With $2.6 Billion-$2.7 Billion Haul

NEW YORK - CBS on Thursday finished its upfront advertising sales, bringing in about $2.6 billion-$2.7 billion in overall commitments.
?
The most-watched network got upfront ad price increases in the 13 percent-15 percent range, higher than all other broadcast networks, according to a source familiar with the situation.
?
CBS, which this fall season is bringing back many established shows and new hits, such as Hawaii Five-O, sold about $100 million-$150 million more in volume than last year. It sold a little less than the 85 percent of ad inventory that it had sold in last year's upfront.

Observers expect that NBC will wrap up the broadcast networks' upfront sales process within days.
