Taylor Armstrong and Kim Richards to Be Phased Out of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

Camille Grammer is officially out of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Might she soon be joined by a pair of now-former co-stars?

Insiders tell Hollywood Life that Taylor Armstrong and Kim Richards will be phased out of the upcoming season because Bravo wants to make room for a pair of new castmates: Yolanda Hadid and Marisa Zanuck.

Taylor Armstrong and Kim Richards

“Taylor’s appearances on Housewives will be greatly reduced," a source says of Armstrong. "The producers don’t want to concentrate on Taylor anymore. They want a fresh start and new storylines.”

The same apparently applies to Kim, who recently completed a stint in rehab. According to this same mole, Richards' appearances on season tree "will be minimal."

What do you think of this news? Will you miss Taylor? Kim? Or are you looking forward to Armstrong having more opportunities to make money off her husband's death?

Volcanic 'plumbing systems' exposed: Step closer to predicting large eruptions with study of mid-ocean ridge magma chambers

ScienceDaily (Mar. 30, 2012) ? Two new studies into the "plumbing systems" that lie under volcanoes could bring scientists closer to predicting large eruptions.

International teams of researchers, led by the University of Leeds, studied the location and behaviour of magma chambers on Earth's mid-ocean ridge system -- a vast chain of volcanoes along which Earth forms new crust.

They worked in Afar (Ethiopia) and Iceland -- the only places where mid-ocean ridges appear above sea level. Volcanic ridges (or "spreading centres") occur when tectonic plates "rift" or pull apart. Magma (hot molten rock) injects itself into weaknesses in the brittle upper crust, erupting as lava and forming new crust upon cooling.

Magma chambers work like plumbing systems, channelling pressurised magma through networks of underground "pipes."

The studies, published in Nature Geoscience, reveal new information about where magma is stored and how it moves through the geological plumbing network. Finding out where magma chambers lie and how they behave can help identify early warning signs of impending eruptions.

Scientists used images taken by the European Space Agency satellite Envisat to measure how the ground moved before, during and after eruptions. Using this data, they built and tested computer models to find out how rifting occurs.

Data in one study showed magma chambers that fed an eruption in November 2008 in the Afar rift of Northern Ethiopia were only about 1 km below the ground. The standard model had predicted a depth of more than 3 km.

It is highly unusual for magma chambers to lie in shallow depths on slow spreading centres such as the Afar rift, where tectonic plates pull apart at about the same speed as human fingernails grow.

Dr Carolina Pagli from the University of Leeds' School of Earth and Environment, who led the study, says: "It was a complete surprise to see that a magma chamber could exist so close to the Earth's surface in an area where the tectonic plates move apart so slowly. The results have changed the way we think about volcanoes."

Dr Pagli also noticed that the ground started "uplifting" (elevating) four months before the eruption, due to new magma increasing pressure in one of the underground chambers. Understanding these precursory signals is fundamental to predicting eruptions.

A wider study of eruptions in Afar and Iceland, two vastly different environments, found remarkable similarities. Many events occurred within a short space of time. Researchers identified multiple magma chambers positioned horizontally and vertically, allowing magma to shoot in several directions. Moving magma triggered earthquakes, and separate magma chambers fed single eruptions.

The 2008 eruption is part of an unusual period of recent volcanic unrest in Ethiopia, and is enabling scientists to learn more about volcanoes at spreading centres. Most spreading centres are under 2 km of water at the bottom of the ocean, making detailed observations extremely challenging. The new knowledge derived from Ethiopian volcanoes will help scientists understand volcanoes in Iceland, where eruptions can have a bigger impact on the UK.

Dr Tim Wright from the School of Earth and Environment, who leads the international Afar Rift Consortium, said: "The dramatic events we have been witnessing in Afar in the past six years are transforming our understanding of how the crust grows when tectonic plates pull apart. Our work in one of the hottest place on Earth is having a direct impact on our understanding of eruptions from the frozen volcanoes of Iceland."

Insight: In bounty seasons, Saints among NFL's most violent

(Reuters) - In a 2011 season in which the New Orleans Saints rewarded players for injuring opponents in a "pay-for-pain" bounty scheme, the team was among the most violent in the National Football League, a Reuters analysis shows.

The Saints were second in the NFL with 17 regular-season defensive flags for violating rules intended to protect players from being hurt, just behind the Oakland Raiders' 18. The league averaged nine per team.

The Raiders have a long, proud tradition of aggressive rule-breaking. "The Oakland Raiders have always been a very physical team," said Jim Tunney, a 31-year veteran NFL referee.

"I think it has a lot to do with team discipline and the way the coach wants to approach the game," he said.

Unlike the Raiders, though, the Saints did not otherwise commit a large number of penalties. As a result, violent penalties accounted for a league-high 37 percent of all the Saints' defensive penalties. The Raiders, with the top number of 88 penalties overall, had a violent-penalty rate of only 20 percent. The league averaged 21 percent.

The Saints also led the league with 1.6 violent penalties per 100 defensive plays and the Raiders were second with 1.57 violent penalties per 100 such plays. The 32 NFL teams averaged just 0.84 on that basis.

When viewed together, the pattern of Saints' penalties suggests the bounty system may have encouraged defensive players to be selectively more violent.

"The data are consistent with the notion that violent plays are being rewarded or pushed," said Scott Berry, an expert on sports statistics at Berry Consultants in Austin, Texas, who reviewed Reuters' analysis.

The controversy over the level of violence comes at a time when the NFL, which is facing lawsuits from hundreds of former players who suffered concussions, has made player safety a top priority.

Reuters used data from Football Outsiders, an NFL statistics website that keeps detailed logs of each penalty. Violent penalties were defined as unnecessary roughness, roughing the passer, disqualification and personal fouls. All other defensive penalties, such as unsportsmanlike conduct, were considered non-violent in the analysis. Data regarding the number of defensive plays came from FootballDB.com. The NFL declined to provide detailed penalty or injury data.

Interactive Graphic: http://static.reuters.com/resources/media/global/editorial/interactives/the-nfl-violence/nfl-charts.html

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Officials with the NFL declined to comment. The Saints and the Raiders did not respond to repeated requests for comment on the analysis.

Last week, the NFL handed down stiff penalties against the Saints after finding that defensive coach Gregg Williams ran a scheme that awarded Saints defensive players $1,500 for a "knockout" and $1,000 for "cart-off" injuries to opposing players during the 2009 to 2011 seasons.

The league suspended Saints head coach Sean Payton for an entire season. Williams - who had left the Saints for the St. Louis Rams - was suspended indefinitely, and Saints general manager Mickey Loomis must step aside for the first eight games of the 2012 season. The Saints will also pay $500,000 and forfeit selections for the second round of the 2012 and 2013 drafts, a significant handicap.

By Friday, every NFL team must certify it does not have a similar bounty program.

ENCOURAGING VIOLENCE

Retired Dallas Cowboys quarterback Danny White is sure there are others. "If I was a betting man, I'd go to Vegas with every penny I've got that there were other teams doing it ... I know when I played there was a bounty on me."

The analysis suggests other teams in the league may have systems, an ethos, or playing styles that encouraged violent rule-breaking. And it all comes amid a 70 percent surge in violent penalties in the NFL since 2008.

The Tennessee Titans' defensive players, for example, were called for 14 violent penalties in 2011, third in the league. Their violent rate of 32.6 percent of defensive penalties was just shy of the Saints' rate and they were fourth in the league with 1.25 violent penalties per 100 defensive plays.

The Titans also have a history of being among the league leaders in violent fouls. In three seasons since 2006, the team has topped the league both in total numbers of violent penalties and in violent penalties per 100 plays.

Refereeing crews could in theory call violent penalties at different rates. But referees had a negligible impact on the teams' rates of violent penalties over the past six seasons, said C. Shane Reese, professor of statistics at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, who also reviewed Reuters' analysis.

And in recent weeks, several players and coaches have acknowledged some teams have for years had informal incentives for players who make big plays, including hitting players so hard they have to leave the game.

In early March, former Indianapolis Colts Coach Tony Dungy, now a football analyst with NBC Sports, said he knew the Titans have had bounties in the past, including to nail former Colts quarterback Peyton Manning.

He made the comment to NBC's ProFootballTalk blog:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/02/dungy-titans-had-a-bounty-on-peyton-manning/

Reuters could not reach Dungy for comment. Titans officials declined to comment.

CRUMPLED

Retired hard-hitting Titans defensive player and sports radio host Blaine Bishop defended his former team. He played for the Titans from 1993 until 2002.

"When I was with the Titans, we never had a bounty system, period," he said.

In recent weeks, the Titans' hometown newspaper, the Tennessean, has reported that some players admitted to an informal system that rewarded big plays but they denied anyone was rewarded just for taking out an opponent.

Williams was defensive coordinator for the Titans from 1997 to 2000. From 2001 to 2003, he was head coach of the Buffalo Bills, and then from 2004-2007 he was defensive coordinator for the Washington Redskins. In 2008 he had that position for the Jacksonville Jaguars, before joining the Saints.

Reuters did not have the data to analyze the period when Williams coached the Titans, the Bills and the first two years of his Redskins career. The teams he coached between 2006 and 2009 did not have unusually high levels of violent penalties.

When Williams joined the Saints in 2009, however, the team joined the Titans among the league leaders in violent penalties.

PLAYER SUSPICIONS

Whatever the numbers say, players have their suspicions. Consider a play during the Saints-Giants game at the Superdome in New Orleans last November.

About a minute into the second half, Giants quarterback Eli Manning threw a pass across the middle to Hakeem Nicks, who appeared to catch the ball for a moment. Then Saints defensive player Isa Abdul-Quddus drove his helmet into Nicks' helmet from the side, forcing him to drop the ball, crumple onto the field and briefly leave the game.

After an official threw a flag and Nicks lay on the ground, Abdul-Quddus celebrated along with several other Saints players - behavior that, in hindsight, made Nicks question whether it had been motivated by a bounty.

"Uh, the way he was celebrating, you would probably think that," Nicks was quoted as saying by the Newark Star-Ledger earlier this month. Nicks later returned to the game, but sat out the next two practices due to a rib injury and concussion-like symptoms, Giants spokesman Pat Hanlon said.

Abdul-Quddus could not be reached for comment.

Nicks' agent Peter Schaffer said Abdul-Quddus violated a football code: "He tried to injure a player instead of tackling a player, and that's where the line is drawn."

Action is needed, Schaffer said. "If there are outside influences that are abnormally encouraging players to go past where the line is drawn, then we have to do everything we can to stop that."

You just have to put a little work and some time into this method, but with video marketing your business should be more successful than it ever has before.

(AP) ? "The Hunger Games" has filled fan appetites with a $155 million opening weekend that puts it near the top of the domestic record book.

The huge haul marks the third-best debut ever in terms of revenue, behind the $169.2 million opening for last year's "Harry Potter" finale and the $158.4 million opening of 2008's "The Dark Knight."

"Harry Potter" and "Batman" were well-established franchises. "The Hunger Games" set a revenue record for a non-sequel, taking in more than twice what the first "Twilight" movie did with its $69.6 million opening weekend.

"This is the birth of a franchise. To launch in this fashion is mindboggling," said David Spitz, head of distribution at Lionsgate, which now also owns the "Twilight" franchise after its purchase of Summit Entertainment.

While it's already a blockbuster on its North American home turf, "The Hunger Games" had a much slower start overseas. The film took in a modest $59.3 million in 67 markets, including Great Britain, Germany, France, Russia and Australia.

The "Harry Potter" finale took in a record $314 million overseas in its debut last summer, and half a dozen other films have opened with more than $200 million outside the United States.

Even "John Carter," a dud domestically, managed to take in more than "The Hunger Games" overseas, launching with $70.6 million in 55 international markets two weekends ago.

Still, "The Hunger Games" amassed a worldwide total of $214.3 million in just a few days.

Domestically, it also was by far the biggest start for a film opening outside the busy summer and holiday seasons. According to Sunday studio estimates, "The Hunger Games" came in nearly $40 million ahead of the previous March record-holder, 2010's "Alice in Wonderland" at $116.1 million.

"The Hunger Games" slid into the No. 3 spot on the domestic revenue chart ahead of "Spider-Man 3," which opened with $151.1 million in 2007. Factoring in today's higher tickets prices, "The Hunger Games" sold fewer tickets over opening weekend than "Spider-Man 3," though.

Fans camped out for the first screenings of "The Hunger Games," which began just after midnight Friday. Many fans showed up dressed as favorite characters from the story.

"That type of behavior puts it on the level of the 'Star Treks' and 'Star Wars,'" Spitz said. "I was so excited to see how everyone was responding to the material and how ecstatic they were to be a part of it."

With a broader fan base than the "Twilight" franchise, "The Hunger Games" pulled in bigger crowds than the top-grossing installment of that series. "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" leads that franchise with a $142.8 million opening weekend in 2009.

Women and girls have made up as much as 80 percent of the audience for the "Twilight" flicks. Though it features a female lead, "The Hunger Games" drew more balanced crowds, with girls and women accounting for 61 percent of audiences, according to distributor Lionsgate.

Despite its teen fan base, "The Hunger Games" also did well among older moviegoers. Fans 25 and older made up 56 percent of the crowds.

"The Hunger Games" stars Jennifer Lawrence as a teen who is one of 24 youths forced to compete in a televised death match in a post-apocalyptic North American society.

The film is based on the first novel in the best-selling trilogy by Suzanne Collins. Lionsgate plans to release part two, "Catching Fire," in November 2013, and hopes to do the finale, "Mockingjay," as a two-part film installment.

"The Hunger Games" gave Hollywood a huge lift during a normally quiet time at theaters, with the start of the summer movie season still a month and a half away.

Overall domestic revenues totaled $214 million, up 76 percent from the same weekend last year, when "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules" led with $23.8 million, according to box-office tracker Hollywood.com.

Business has soared this year, with domestic receipts now at $2.4 billion, 19 percent ahead of last year's. Hollywood also has a potentially record-breaking summer lineup coming that includes the superhero tales "The Avengers," ''The Amazing Spider-Man" and "The Dark Knight Rises."

"With this incredible weekend for 'The Hunger Games,' we're perhaps experiencing what could be called the perfect box-office year," said Hollywood.com analyst Paul Dergarabedian. "We're just on a trajectory like I've never seen."

The previous No. 1 movie, Sony's action comedy "21 Jump Street," dropped to a distant No. 2 but held up well in its second weekend with $21.3 million. That raised its domestic total to $71.1 million.

Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Hollywood.com. Where available, latest international numbers are also included. Final domestic figures will be released Monday.

1. "The Hunger Games," $155 million ($59.3 million international).

2. "21 Jump Street," $21.3 million ($5.3 million international).

3. "Dr. Seuss' the Lorax," $13.1 million ($5.5 million international).

4. "John Carter," $5 million ($22.2 million international).

5. "Act of Valor," $2.1 million.

6. "Project X," $2 million ($4.4 million international).

7. "A Thousand Words," $1.9 million.

8. "October Baby," $1.7 million.

9. "Safe House," $1.39 million ($2.3 million international).

10. "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island," $1.37 million.

Estimated weekend ticket sales at international theaters (excluding the U.S. and Canada) for films distributed overseas by Hollywood studios, according to Rentrak:

1. "The Hunger Games," $59.3 million.

2. "John Carter," $22.2 million.

3. "Best Exotic Marigold Hotel," $8.2 million.

4. "This Means War," $5.9 million.

Director James Cameron awestruck at ocean's deepest spot

Tue Mar 27, 2012 2:24am EDT

(Reuters) - Returning from humankind's first solo dive to the deepest spot in the ocean, filmmaker James Cameron said he saw no obvious signs of life that might inspire creatures in his next "Avatar" movie but was awestruck by the "complete isolation."

The Oscar-winning director and undersea explorer said his record-setting expedition to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, 7 miles beneath the surface of the western Pacific, not only capped seven years of painstaking preparation but was the "culmination of a lifelong dream."

Cameron, 57, spoke to reporters in a telephone conference call from a yacht en route back to shore from the dive site hours after returning safely to the surface from his voyage to the floor of the immense undersea canyon at a point some 300 miles (480 miles) southwest of the U.S. Pacific territory of Guam.

He described a flat, desolate landscape, 50 times larger than the Grand Canyon, "devoid of sunlight, devoid of any heat, any warmth," where the pressure was so great that it squeezed the height of his submersible vehicle by several inches.

He looked out on the sea floor, illuminated by the lights on his submarine, through a small window.

"When I got to the bottom ... it was completely featureless and uniform," he said. "My feeling was one of complete isolation from all of humanity. ... More than anything, (it's) realizing how tiny you are down in this big, vast, black, unknown and unexplored place."

The only free-swimming creatures he saw near the bottom were tiny shrimp-like arthropods, but little else in the way of life was immediately visible. Cameron said further exploration would be required to discern what other organisms might dwell there.

Asked if he encountered anything he might use in his next feature film, he replied, "I can't answer that question right now." But he said, "Anything that I've ever seen underwater goes into the hopper of imagination that gets refracted out into the things that I write."

He also recounted the discomfort of his seven-hour journey into the ocean depths and back, wedged into a cramped, cold capsule at the bottom of a specially designed vehicle that stands 24 feet tall and descends upright and rotating at the speed of about 500 feet per minute.

The craft functioned flawlessly, he said, except for an unexplained failure of the hydraulic system that idled the vehicle's robot arm and prevented Cameron from collecting most of the biological and geologic samples he had hoped to retrieve.

NOT GIVING UP MOVIES

Better known as the director of such blockbuster films as "Titanic," "Aliens" and "Avatar," Cameron made history on Monday as the first person to venture alone to the so-called Challenger Deep, the lowest-known point of the Earth's crust, nearly 36,000 feet beneath the ocean surface.

He also was the first individual to make that journey since 1960, when the only other explorers to reach the bottom of the Mariana Trench - U.S. Navy Lieutenant Don Walsh and the late Swiss oceanographer Jacques Piccard - spent 20 minutes there together in the submersible craft Trieste.

Cameron said he was inspired as a boy by the original feat of Piccard and Walsh - a mentor and part of his support team at the surface - and by the adventures of French undersea explorer Jacques Cousteau, to take up diving at age 16, even though he lived "in a small, landlocked village in rural Canada."

"Most people probably know me as a filmmaker, but really the ocean and the idea of exploration has been the stronger driver in my life," he said.

By his count, Cameron has made 72 ocean dives in various submersible crafts over the years, including 12 trips during the making of "Titanic" to the famed shipwreck in the North Atlantic.

Still, Cameron insisted he had no plans to give up his movie career, saying, "I'm going to be turning my attention to 'Avatar 2' and 'Avatar 3' as soon as I finish up with this expedition."

His venture to the Challenger Deep is being chronicled for a 3-D film set for theatrical release and for subsequent broadcast on the National Geographic Channel.

Extreme weather of last decade part of larger pattern linked to global warming

ScienceDaily (Mar. 25, 2012) ? The past decade has been one of unprecedented weather extremes. Scientists of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Germany argue that the high incidence of extremes is not merely accidental. From the many single events a pattern emerges. At least for extreme rainfall and heat waves the link with human-caused global warming is clear, the scientists show in a new analysis of scientific evidence in the journal Nature Climate Change. Less clear is the link between warming and storms, despite the observed increase in the intensity of hurricanes.

In 2011 alone, the US was hit by 14 extreme weather events which caused damages exceeding one billion dollars each -- in several states the months of January to October were the wettest ever recorded. Japan also registered record rainfalls, while the Yangtze river basin in China suffered a record drought. Similar record-breaking events occurred also in previous years. In 2010, Western Russia experienced the hottest summer in centuries, while in Pakistan and Australia record-breaking amounts of rain fell. 2003 saw Europe?s hottest summer in at least half a millennium. And in 2002, the weather station of Zinnwald-Georgenfeld measured more rain in one day than ever before recorded anywhere in Germany -- what followed was the worst flooding of the Elbe river for centuries.

A question of probabilities

"The question is whether these weather extremes are coincidental or a result of climate change," says Dim Coumou, lead author of the article. "Global warming can generally not be proven to cause individual extreme events -- but in the sum of events the link to climate change becomes clear." This is what his analysis of data and published studies shows. "It is not a question of yes or no, but a question of probabilities," Coumou explains. The recent high incidence of weather records is no longer normal, he says.

"It?s like a game with loaded dice," says Coumou. "A six can appear every now and then, and you never know when it happens. But now it appears much more often, because we have changed the dice." The past week illustrates this: between March 13th and 19th alone, historical heat records were exceeded in more than a thousand places in North America.

Three pillars: basic physics, statistical analysis and computer simulations

The scientists base their analysis on three pillars: basic physics, statistical analysis and computer simulations. Elementary physical principles already suggest that a warming of the atmosphere leads to more extremes. For example, warm air can hold more moisture until it rains out. Secondly, clear statistical trends can be found in temperature and precipitation data, the scientists explain. And thirdly, detailed computer simulations also confirm the relation between warming and records in both temperature and precipitation.

With warmer ocean temperatures, tropical storms -- called typhoons or hurricanes, depending on the region -- should increase in intensity but not in number, according to the current state of knowledge. In the past decade, several record-breaking storms occurred, for example hurricane Wilma in 2004. But the dependencies are complex and not yet fully understood. The observed strong increase in the intensity of tropical storms in the North Atlantic between 1980 and 2005, for example, could be caused not just by surface warming but by a cooling of the upper atmosphere. Furthermore, there are questions about the precision and reliability of historic storm data.

Overall, cold extremes decrease with global warming, the scientists found. But this does not compensate for the increase in heat extremes.

Climatic warming can turn an extreme event into a record-breaking event

"Single weather extremes are often related to regional processes, like a blocking high pressure system or natural phenomena like El Ni?o," says Stefan Rahmstorf, co-author of the article and chair of the Earth System Analysis department at PIK. "These are complex processes that we are investigating further. But now these processes unfold against the background of climatic warming. That can turn an extreme event into a record-breaking event."

Planning Your Cash Flow As A Solo Professional | Best Home ...

So? what is cash move planning? Money flow planning is projecting your future money inflows from sales, providers, and loans, and evaluating them to your future money circulate wants (suppliers, salaries/wages, loan payments, taxes, etc.). The difference between the 2 is your internet cash flow.

Why is cash circulation planning so necessary? Cash stream planning might help you determine issues down the highway, and fix them before they occur. Cash move planning may also assist you to make decisions similar to should I attend that convention I?ve wished to attend, should I purchase the new laptop I have been wanting, or do I need to work further arduous this month to avoid a cash flow deficiency next month?

The first step in planning your cash movement is knowing where you spend your cash! Solo entrepreneurs need to have an excellent grip on both their personal and business spending, as most solo entrepreneurs depend on their business earnings to satisfy personal finance objectives (i.e., pay the bills!). So, you must observe each your personal and your enterprise spending, though I like to recommend that you hold them separate (that is a topic all by itself).

What?s one of the best ways to trace your spending? You should use pen & paper, spreadsheets or a software program program. The best technique for you is the strategy that you will truly use on an everyday basis.

You should undertaking your spending for at least the subsequent 12 months so that you embody annual and other periodic expenses. If you are experiencing a money circulate crisis, you should observe & project your cash circulation on a weekly foundation, as an alternative of monthly.

In case you are an present enterprise, you may project your money circulate for the next 12 months by reviewing your bills for last year. If you?re a brand new business, you will need to estimate your start up costs in addition to common working expenses.

Start up prices embrace stock, legal bills, advertising, licenses & permits, supplies, and plenty of more costs that you may not have thought of. To analysis startup prices it?s best to contact your native Small Business Development Middle, contact a SCORE counselor, join teams of comparable business house owners, and skim as many books or articles you can find on the subject.

To enhance your cash circulate,? trade stock market you need to:

1. Complete the primary 3 steps. It?s a must to perceive cash circulation planning, monitor your money circulation, and project your future spending wants before you possibly can improve your cash flow.

2. Create greatest and worst case eventualities and create acceptable responses to each scenarios. For example, in case your greatest case scenario is to extend sales by 50%, how will you use the earnings? Will you place the profits back into the company by investing in new tools, coaching, etc.? If your worst case scenario is a drop in sales by 50%, how will you continue to cover your monthly bills? By planning for one of the best and worst case situations, you?ll be ready for any situation.

3. When estimating your future earnings, understand that some individuals can pay late, and account for that truth in your projection.

4. Cost what you are worth. Many companies, particularly service professionals, beneath-charge when they are first beginning out. It is a nice method to go out of business. Make sure you are charging what you?re worth, and bear in mind you are in enterprise to earn a living, not to give your experience away for free.

5. Watch what you are promoting spending. Focus on the value the item brings to what you are promoting, and keep away from lavish spending (i.e., do you actually need the quickest, latest computer out there?).

6. Do not hire until necessary. Think about using digital assistants or non permanent staff earlier than hiring permanent employees.

7. Give incentives for early fee for products and services. On the flip facet, chase down invoices the minute they?re late. Cost interest or late fees to encourage well timed payments.

8. Update your money move regularly. Your cash stream plan will change ceaselessly as what you are promoting grows. You might want to replace your money circulate plan weekly when you first get started, then switch to monthly as soon as you?ve got a very good handle on your cash flow.

Bear in mind ? whether you are a new or growing business, your cash movement projection could make the distinction between success and failure.
